Sanjay Raval was born in a simple Brahmin family. His father's name was Menaben Raval, his father was working as a tailor in a rented store of Palanpur, Sanjay was living in a very bad financial condition, in his childhood.

He was having a dream of becoming a doctor, so he applied for a BSc degree, he was working as a waiter during his college time and use to save the money earned from it to pay the fees of his college.
He completed his BSc degree course in 1987 at Palanpur science college, but he was not able to score good marks in this course, he has also completed LLB from Palanpur law college in 2011.
He started his first business of diamond after graduation in science but suffered huge losses in this business, he was compelled to sell his scooter and home to balance the loss.
He was in huge debt because of this loss, but he did not lose his hope, he tried to do many jobs and explored other ways of earning money. After various struggles, he was financially stable and tried to take a big risk by opening a construction business.
